The Thousand Islands Parkway Trail Advisory Committee (TIPTAC) invites you to join us for a casual bike ride along the Thousand Islands Parkway (TIP) paved path on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
Start: 9:30 am Thousand Islands Parkway, east end parking area
Finish: Gananoque (37 km one-way)
Total distance: Some people will ride a few km, others will do a round trip – you can turn around at any point, or arrange for someone to pick you up.
Feel free to join us for any distance with which you are comfortable, or to flag us down as we pass by your property.
A representative from the TIP’s managing organization, the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, will ride with us.
The ride will be an opportunity for us to experience the trail together and talk about it as we go.
What do you love about the path? What needs improvement?
We can talk about what could be done to enhance the trail and improve the experience of it for all the people who use it.
No fee, no fund-raising, no registration, no commitments – but a helmet is advisable, as is a water bottle and a bell on your bike!
