This memorial stands on a man-made hill (soil from the original battle area) and is dedicated to the Battle of Crysler's Farm that took place in November 1813.


Loyalist Memorial

Stop at the Loyalist Memorial, a sculpture created by Canadian Jacobine Jones and unveiled by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in July of 1959. It stands in recognition of the contributions made to the early settlers of Upper Canada.

This memorial contains tombstones of well known local residents that were rescued from eight cemeteries along the river front. These residents were recognized for their pioneering spirit and outstanding contribution to community life.
