Q: What is the Learn to Fish program?
A: Learn to Fish is a two-hour program that teaches kids, teens, and adults how to fish. The first hour focuses on the use of equipment, fish species identification, how to fish safely and according to the regulations, and more. For the second hour, participants will get supervised, hands-on fishing experience.

A: You can register for the Learn to Fish program in your campground registration building. Also ask for the program location at your campground registration building.
Q: How much does it cost to take this program?
A: It’s free for all campers and holders of a day use pass! Day use passes can be purchased at any campground registration building.
Q: Do I need a fishing licence to participate in the program?
A: No! When you register for the program, you will be given a promotional licence for that day only. If you decide to fish on any day other than your registered date, you will require a fishing licence.
Q: Do I need to bring any fishing equipment?
A: No! We provide everything you need, including fishing rods and reels, bait, lifejackets, sunglasses, and a fishing licence for that day.
Q: Is the program drop-in?
A: No, the program is not drop-in. The first hour is mandatory in order to participate in the second hour of fishing. Please arrive five minutes before the session starts to sign-in. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the whole session.
