The Friends of the Sanctuary provide a variety of special events and activities throughout the year. The 2016 Winter Program is underway and we are waiting for Mother Nature to cooperate with snow so that the trails can be groomed.
Visit the Sanctuary and walk, ski, snowshoe (conditions permitting), feed the birds and experience nature. Equipment rentals are available at the Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre is open every Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m., on Family Day and March Break.
One of the privileges of being a 'Friends of the Sanctuary' member is reduced rental rates for equipment. Members should bring their membership card or identification which shows full name and address for verification.
